This book met my expectations and is a great way to learn equine anatomy.I haven't made it through all the pages yet, if you take your time to try and study this it will take you quite a while.
We were pleased with it's design and how effectiveit was in helping her grasp horse anatomy. Highly recommend. Our 12 year old daughter completed this atlas as part of herhome schooling. Every true horse lovercan benefit from this book.
This book is a great supplement especially because there doesn't seem to be a lot of good horse anatomy diagrams published.
Goes great with Equine Science, 2nd edition by Sarah Pilliner Zoe Davies. The circulatory, respritory, digestive and other systems are also broken down into detail. They cover every angle and different muscular layers to make sure you get a full understanding. It is essential to understand these systems in order to recognize when there is something wrong. This book is a great way to learn the skeletal and muscular system of the horse. The pictures are well defined and colorable. This is a must have for anyone who works with horses.
I use it for my online school courses in Equine Science. I love this book. Who doesn't like coloring for college.
